To Service Educators Microsoft introduces all-encompassing ‘Office 365 Education’

Microsoft has launched one all-encompassing education program, Office 365 Education, which will now take the place of E1, E3 and E4. Existing 365 customers will benefit from this program at no additional fee. New academic institutions seeking to purchase educational plans through Microsoft will now look to purchase only one plan and no longer need to decide between E1, E3 or E4.

Microsoft has revamped their Office 365 educational curriculum to allow educators to focus solely on learning and teaching while Microsoft IT focuses on the underlying technology with in Office 365.

WHAT THE PLAN INCLUDES: The new education plan includes all features of E3 with the exception of Business Plus CAL, Skype and ProPlus.          

Renewal Options:

• EES/School:  E3/E4 SKUs will continue to be available for renewal and anniversary with the adjusted price on the lead status pricelist.
• OVS-ES: E3/E4 SKUs will continue to be available on pricelist for renewals. Promo code will be available in mid-September so partner can enable adjusted pricing at anniversary – no LE/LS touch required.
• MPSA and Direct: E3/E4 SKUs will continue to be available for renewals at the adjusted price.
• Customers that have already purchased E3/E4 will transition to the reduced price at renewal or on extension without an amendment.

*E1 customers do not need to take any additional steps and can continue to renew. E1 customers will automatically be provided with the new key features of Office 365 Education.
