According to Microsoft, at any point in time during a week there is over 1.5 million attempts a day to compromise its systems. That is a massive number of attempts, however Microsoft is not only fending off cyber criminals, they are learning from them. Every cyber-attack or attempt at your information is feeding data into their intelligent security graph. This data is then analyzed to ultimately improve security in the Microsoft Cloud. This includes detecting time consuming false positives to understanding the most prevalent holes (a compromised password). This work is translated into security updates throughout Microsoft products and tools. To learn more about why your data is safer in the Microsoft cloud, grab a cup of coffee, find a quiet space, and read the full story at A New Era in Cloud Computing.
